The best art is political and you ought to be able to make it unquestionably political and irrevocably beautiful at the same time.

The Arts and Politics Plays
The plays are collaborations between artists and scholars, exploring the relationship of aesthetics and politics. The three plays are at different stages of development. They can be produced individually or as a set.
Ideally the plays would be performed as a triptych through a collaboration amongst different cultural institutions: “Dance, Salome! Dance!”—theater; “Late Style”— symphony or music venue; “On Guernica”—art museum or gallery. The pieces are well-suited for university and conservatory settings, and can be staged as a workshop performance. The plays aim to initiate discussions vital to our society.
Echoes of the Circle is an artistic collaborative collective rooted in shared leadership, interdisciplinary creation, and sustainable practice. Designed as a lean, non-hierarchical structure, the collective supports meaningful collaboration, resource-conscious production, and strategic partnerships with organizations and institutions. How can we scale down traditional arts structures and still produce powerful, interdisciplinary work?
Echoes of the Circle envisions a future where artists thrive within flexible, collaborative ecosystems—where care, clarity, and community drive the creative process, and production models evolve to serve both the work and the people behind it.
